Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Product Builder to own the full product loop for PIX, including catalog and inventory surfaces, powered by an AI-native toolchain. You’ll drive discovery, specs, prototypes, and production PRs with a focus on measurable outcomes.

You should bring 5+ years in product management with hands-on AI tooling, a track record of shipping prototypes or production code, and experience in supply chain or e-commerce tech. Reports to a Director, AI Product Builder.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, product engineering, or equivalent with hands-on AI tool usage.
• Proven ability to write story/specs that AI tools can act on directly — state machines, rules, data contracts.
• Technical fluency: read data models, evaluate API contracts, ensure AI-generated code matches architecture.
• Track record of shipping prototypes or production code, not just designs.
• Strong ownership: define metrics and kill thresholds at spec time and track post-launch.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product loop end-to-end: discovery → story/spec → prototype → production PR → outcome.
• Own catalog and inventory data surface end-to-end: SKUs, variants, bundles, lots, channel sync.
• Run customer discovery; synthesize research from tickets, interviews, data, and signals.
• Demo products to merchants/partners; understand competitive landscape and differentiators.
• Use AI to analyze metrics, identify usage patterns, and define kill thresholds at spec time.
