Job summary

ShipBob seeks a Senior AI Product Builder to own the full product loop from discovery to production PR within an AI-native pod. You will lead the catalog and inventory data surface and drive data-quality and adoption across SKUs, variants, bundles, and channels.

You will run customer discovery with AI tools, demo to merchants, analyze metrics, and shape a prioritized roadmap while ensuring architectural fit and effective AI-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AI-native product initiatives from discovery through production.
• Ability to define data contracts and product APIs with engineers.
• Strong track record in customer discovery, experimentation, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product loop end-to-end: discovery → story/spec → prototype → production PR → outcome measurement.
• Own the product catalog and inventory data surface end-to-end: SKUs, variants, bundles, lots, and channel sync.
• Run customer discovery yourself and synthesize research with AI tools.
• Demo products to merchants and partners; articulate competitive differentiators.
• Use AI tools to analyze metrics, surface usage patterns, and define kill thresholds.
• Maintain a prioritized roadmap with impact × speed; synthesize market and customer insights.
• Evaluate solution fit to ShipBob's architecture and data structures.
• Route changes through prototype-then-PR; write clear story/specs and review AI-generated code.
• Set hypotheses with explicit kill thresholds and decide on day-7 rollout outcomes.
• Participate in architecture reviews with Engineering as the product judgment seat.
