Job summary

Accenture seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join its Sourcing & Procurement practice. You will embed with client teams to deploy enterprise AI platforms, drive adoption, and ensure reliability across complex environments.

Responsibilities include leading platform deployments, defining measurable outcomes, and accelerating production-ready AI solutions in fast-paced settings. Travel up to 75% to client sites and engagements across the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems including APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• At least 1 year designing and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
• 3+ years of deep expertise with AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) in multi-provider pipelines.
• 8+ years of experience leading software engineering teams and delivering outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; if associate degree, 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across complex client environments and platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, or Jaggaer.
• Own programme-level delivery outcomes: time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, and scalability across multiple workstreams.
• Lead rapid experimentation to drive production systems in days or weeks.
• Architect and govern AI solutions across identity, data, security, governance, and platform layers.
• Define reinvention blueprints and accelerators for multiple client engagements and the FDE practice.
• Lead architecture design sessions and executive workshops with client leadership.
• Codify delivery learnings, failure patterns, and engineering standards for future projects.
• Design and deploy AI-powered procurement solutions including autonomous sourcing agents and contract lifecycle automation.
• Translate S&P requirements into scalable AI architectures and production-ready workflows.
