Job summary

You will combine architectural thinking with hands-on engineering to design scalable systems, make long-term technical decisions, and guide a small senior team through prototyping and delivery.

You will work with modern AI tech, including LLMs and RAG, and influence engineering standards, practices, and direction as the capability evolves.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software engineering experience across complex products or platforms.
• Strong experience in software architecture and long-term technical decisions.
• Hands-on software development track record.
• Practical knowledge of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and RAG.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Help architect and build a new technology capability from the ground up.
• Take ownership of key technical and architectural decisions.
• Stay hands-on with software development, design and code.
• Build AI-enabled solutions using proven software engineering practices.
• Explore architectural alternatives and prototype ideas.
• Determine integration of existing Infor technologies and external platforms.
