Job summary

NVIDIA's Product Security organization is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to push the frontier of AI-driven offensive security. This is a hands-on role building autonomous and semi-autonomous LLM agents for reconnaissance, exploitation, and evidence capture on NVIDIA-owned targets.

You will extend agent harnesses, encode operator tradecraft into prompts and tools, and develop robust verification and safety layers while mentoring the team and driving scalable attacker tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in security engineering, with at least 4 years in offensive security.
• Hands-on exploitation skill in web, cloud/Kubernetes, or systems.
• Strong Python software engineering; production code.
• Experience building with LLMs: agent frameworks, tool use/function calling, multi-agent orchestration.
• Sound judgment about autonomous offensive tooling—scoping and blast-radius thinking.
• Respectful, responsible approach to offensive testing.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and building new red team agents: autonomous and semi-autonomous LLM agents for reconnaissance, hypothesis-driven exploitation, and evidence capture against NVIDIA-owned targets.
• Extending our agent harnesses across multiple runtimes and providers.
• Encoding operator tradecraft into prompts, tools, and playbooks for web app exploitation, auth bypass, and cloud/Kubernetes paths.
• Building the verification layer to prove findings before human review, reducing false positives.
• Engineering the safety side of autonomy: sandboxing, scope enforcement, blocklists/allowlists, credential isolation, and prompt-injection defenses.
• Evaluating frontier models for offensive tasks and turning engagements into repeatable agent capabilities.
• Mentoring engineers and setting the technical bar for agentic tooling.
