Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to build and own full-stack features for AI-powered enterprise-scale applications. You will design knowledge libraries, retrieval pipelines, and embedding-based search, while delivering regulated, auditable solutions.

You will leverage enterprise AI tools, implement robust validations, and contribute to secure coding standards. A strong learning mindset and collaboration with risk/compliance partners are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals with robust APIs, services, and UX.
• Experience building production systems with CI/CD, monitoring, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end full-stack features for AI-enabled products at scale.
• Design knowledge library, retrieval (RAG), embedding generation, and semantic search pipelines.
• Develop AI content and document-generation solutions with guardrails and auditability for regulated workflows.
• Leverage enterprise AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding.
• Engineer tool-using workflows with validations and deterministic controls.
• Apply SDLC tools to improve automation and governance of AI-enabled solutions.
• Implement semantic validations to improve output quality and detect hallucinations.
• Stay current with AI/ML trends and translate them into pragmatic engineering decisions.
• Raise the bar on testing, reliability, observability, performance, and secure coding.
