Job summary

Gynger is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build the AI-native infrastructure for tech financing, focusing on underwriting, risk monitoring, collections, and payments. You’ll design scalable backend services and APIs, with strong data models and cloud deployments in AWS or GCP, and integrate AI tooling into the development workflow.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript (React frontend, Node.js backend).
• Strong backend design of scalable APIs, databases, and architectures.
• Experience releasing and operating cloud-based applications (GCP or AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and build production systems including scalable backend services and APIs.
• Take full-stack features from concept through architecture and deployment.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows for credit risk operations across underwriting, monitoring, collections, and payments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, and product managers to solve complex problems.
• Shape engineering practices and integrate AI tooling into the workflow.
