Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a senior Product Manager to set multi-year direction for data platform and AI/ML products. You will lead PMs, shape platform strategy with the Director and Principal Engineers, and communicate ROI to Director/VP stakeholders.

You will own end-to-end AI/ML lifecycles, establish data governance, and drive enterprise analytics initiatives across R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial. This is a hybrid US-based role with strong cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years on data platforms, AI/ML products, or enterprise analytics infrastructure.
• Experience owning a multi-product portfolio and leading PMs or BAs.
• Excellent portfolio-level prioritisation, decision making, and OKR-driven roadmapping.
• Mastery of agile delivery and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Miro).
• Experience with lakehouse architecture, data mesh, pipelines, data cataloguing, and self-service analytics.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, Delta Lake, and dbt; strong SQL and Python understanding.
• Experience with BI tooling (Tableau, Power BI) and end-to-end ML lifecycle, MLOps, LLMOps, and GenAI.
• Experience managing GenAI or LLM-powered products in production with responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year product vision and roadmaps for data platform and AI/ML products.
• Lead a team of PMs; manage backlogs, epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Engage executives to communicate platform value, ROI, and governance.
• Define AI-ready data product requirements and governance tooling.
• Partner with architecture leaders to align strategy with enterprise data priorities.
