Teradata Corporation (SE) seeks a Senior Manager – AI Platform to lead the next‑gen platform powering autonomous, AI‑driven agents. You will unite data science expertise with platform thinking to scale reasoning, memory, and tool use in a distributed system.

You will direct a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists, shaping product strategy and ensuring production‑readiness, performance, and extensibility across AI product lines and downstream apps.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software/platform engineering or data science.
• 3+ years in engineering management or AI leadership roles.
• Proven experience scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms.
• Strong backend, APIs, infrastructure, or platform architecture background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform with scalable architecture.
• Partner with product, data science, research, and engineering to define capabilities like planning and multi-agent collaboration.
• Drive design and implementation of core services including API gateways, vector store integrations, and RAG pipelines.
• Oversee integrations with third‑party tools and data science services to enable scalable agent execution.
• Guide cloud-native practices, observability, security, and responsible engineering.
