Capital One is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Engineer to lead Gen AI Platform Services focused on Agentic AI, Guardrails, and Evaluation. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products at scale in a responsible and measurable way.

The ideal candidate has extensive AI/ML leadership experience, cloud deployment expertise, and a track record of turning research into production. You will shape the technical vision and mentor engineers while advancing scalable,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with several years of AI/ML experience.
At least 1 year of people leadership experience.
Proven ability to translate research into production AI systems.

Responsabilités

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
Oversee design, development, testing, deployment and support of AI software components.
Make build-vs-buy decisions across Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
Advance foundation model optimization for scale, cost, latency, and throughput.
Contribute to strategic vision and long-term roadmap for AI systems.
Mentor engineers/scientists and foster learning within the team.
Translate enterprise AI goals into actionable roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
Establish governance, evaluation, and rollout standards for Responsible AI.
Collaborate with Research, Data, and Platform teams to accelerate model lifecycle.
