Job summary

IMO Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve internal platforms supporting terminology management and knowledge graph initiatives. You’ll maintain production apps, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows while introducing new AI capabilities into business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and building maintainable services, APIs, internal tools, jobs, or workflows.
• Experience with AWS-based cloud applications and Bedrock/LLM APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, testing, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve internal platforms for terminology management, content creation, mapping, workflows, and delivery.
• Build and maintain integrations across internal apps, APIs, knowledge bases, databases, and AI services.
• Provide operational support for AI-enabled applications, incluindo deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Manage AWS-based deployments, infrastructure, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Develop and troubleshoot cloud-based AI workflows using AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, MWAA).
• Collaborate with clinical, terminology, product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure auditable, human-in-the-loop processes.
