Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale next generation AI infrastructure across compute, storage, networking and accelerators. You will lead the on-prem private cloud roadmap, acting as product owner and shaping platform capabilities for predictive ML and generative AI workloads at enterprise scale.

You will collaborate with data science, MLOps, security, and governance teams to ensure responsible AI, while guiding RFIs/RFPs and vendor selections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related engineering field is required.
• Significant history in large scale infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems architecture in a complex enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI infrastructure roadmap for on-premise private cloud, aligning with enterprise AI priorities.
• Act as product owner for AI infrastructure translating data science needs into scalable platform capabilities.
• Architect and scale infrastructure to train large models on petabytes of data with low latency inference.
