Blue Origin is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to own sustaining engineering for an internal AI platform used across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain. You will lead tool upgrades, training, and rollout, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development with AI/ML in production.
• Ownership of a production software product lifecycle, including on-call support.
• Experience building and operating LLM-based or agentic apps in production.
• Proficient with AI/ML models, TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Sustaining engineering and platform maintenance for an internal AI platform.
• Design, build, and release AI-assisted workflows for multiple domains.
• Perform rigorous performance testing and model fine-tuning when needed.
• Mentor partner development teams and guide collaboration.
• Manage data quality, guardrails, and feedback triage for users.
