Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Principal AI Engineer to help drive enterprise-scale AI adoption on our data & AI platform. You will design reusable components, starter kits, and pattern libraries to accelerate AI across Vertex's data platform.

You will collaborate with platform engineering, governance and product teams to ship AI solutions safely,, securely and at scale, influencing enablement programs across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with data, advanced analytics, and 5+ years delivering cloud-based data products.
• Strong experience with AI/ML and GenAI products.
• 5+ years delivering projects in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Platform management to enable scalable AI adoption across the organization.
• Design, build and maintain production-grade AI starter kits.
• Deliver end-to-end reference implementations for AI workloads.
