Job summary

EDF power solutions is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer to own the end-to-end design, build, and governance of the enterprise AI platform. You will drive integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot and AWS Bedrock, coordinating with cloud, security, and application teams in a matrixed environment.

The role is a hybrid, office-based position with leadership opportunities, budget responsibility, and an emphasis on governance, architecture standards, and vendor management with Microsoft and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 7–10 years in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or infra operations.
• Hands-on AWS Bedrock + Copilot in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering AI platform work in matrix organizations.
• Knowledge of integrating structured/unstructured enterprise data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI platform design, build, and governance.
• Lead AWS Bedrock deployment including Agents, KBs, and Guardrails.
• Configure Microsoft 365 Copilot integration and DLP/licensing scopes.
• Develop and maintain IaC (Terraform or CDK) for deployments.
• Integrate data sources (data warehouses, SharePoint, APIs) into Bedrock workloads.
• Create governance artifacts, runbooks, and ARB submissions.
• Mentor teammates and drive internal AI capability development.
• Collaborate with security, IT governance, and enterprise architecture.
