Job summary

Nuveen is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and deliver platform solutions on cloud infrastructure that enable AI capabilities at enterprise scale. You will design, build, and maintain foundational infrastructure, while guiding teammates and translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include partnering with AI and infrastructure teams to provision cloud environments on AWS, leading design sessions, and developing internal tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise-grade software development with Java/Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services and serverless functions (AWS Lambda).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions to support AI platform capabilities across the organization.
• Lead architectural discussions and ensure cross-team alignment on engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain internal tooling to support infrastructure operations and AI workflows.
• Mentor peers, review code, and establish development best practices.
• Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and SDLC documentation.
