Motive is seeking a senior engineer to ship production software and AI systems on reliable, cost-conscious cloud infrastructure. You design services, operate inference platforms, and collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, scalable software with strong value.

You will own the full lifecycle from implementation to deployment, write maintainable Python code plus a second stack, and focus on cost control and performance optimization across cloud resources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with production systems.
• Shipped back-end services and production AI/ML.
• Strong Python and a second stack (TypeScript/Node, Go, or Java).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production services and APIs.
• Own full lifecycle: tests, CI/CD, deployment, and maintenance.
• Operate production AI systems including RAG and inference optimization.
• Architect cloud infrastructures with AWS/GCP and Kubernetes.
