Realtor.com is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to architect and enhance the internal AI tooling foundation powering safe, scalable adoption across the company. You will build software frameworks, protocols, and developer harnesses for autonomous agents while owning operational health, access governance, and license hygiene of tools like Portkey, Claude, Gemini, Devin, and Glean.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software, Platform, or Systems Administration experience with enterprise tooling.
• Experience with agentic architectures, tool-calling, or AI SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of identity management, access control, and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core AI platform software, APIs, and SDKs for agentic use cases.
• Own day-to-day platform operations for AI tools and licenses.
• Standardize AI protocols, connectors, and governance standards across teams.
• Engineer an LLM gateway for centralized model access, guardrails, and observability.
• Implement identity lifecycle, SSO, RBAC, and policy-as-code into the platform.
• Lead maintenance, runbooks, and vendor coordination for production systems.
• Partner with security, IT, and legal to align tooling with policies.
• Shape a greenfield AI platform with guardrails for safe, scalable adoption.
• Strengthen AWS infrastructure and private connectivity for AI workloads.
• Drive architecture reviews to ensure consistent, practical paved-path solutions.
• Collaborate across departments to unify solution architectures and reduce fragmentation.
