Job summary

American Express is building an enterprise Agentic AI Platform to power scalable AI agents across the organization. You will contribute to architecture and implementation of agent runtime, control plane, governance, discovery, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in building production AI platforms and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Go/TypeScript and modern cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable agent runtime infrastructure using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Develop APIs and services for agent registration, configuration, deployment, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Create abstractions and governance controls for enterprise AI agents including security, identity, and access policies.
• Build registries and catalogs to enable discovery of agents, tools, prompts, and models.
