Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to stand up an AI Enterprise capability and manage the infrastructure, pipelines, and guardrails for enterprise-scale AI deployments at Fort Meade.

You will build and run cloud and on-prem systems, drive secure CI/CD, and collaborate with AI/ML teams to accelerate mission outcomes. The role requires 10+ years of DevOps/engineering experience, Docker/Kubernetes expertise, and an active TS/SCI clearance with poly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10+ years of experience or Master's with 8+ years
Advanced proficiency in DevOps principles and practices
Expertise in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Proven experience architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines
Extensive experience with AI model lifecycle management and maintenance
Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly

Responsibilities

Provide embedded operations support and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools for the customer.
Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure for enterprise AI applications in cloud and on-prem environments.
Develop and optimize engineering workflows to support AI model and agent deployment and maintenance.
Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of AI models and applications.
Implement and manage Docker/Kubernetes-based containerization and build guardrails (identity, policy, audits, observability).
Ensure efficient AI model/agent lifecycle management including versioning, monitoring, scaling.
Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to streamline deployments and resource use.
Oversee performance, security, and RMF/ATO accreditation of AI systems.
