Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Cambridge, MA and Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to provide deep technical leadership for AI software platforms and cloud deployment patterns across Supply Chain and enterprise Digital.

You will set architecture, code critical components, mentor engineers, and partner with product leaders to deliver scalable AI solutions with robust governance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related technical field.
• 7+ years of software, data, or AI engineering experience, including 4+ years delivering production ML/GenAI.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Java/Scala/TypeScript preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and reference architecture for AI software delivery.
• Lead end-to-end cloud deployment standards across environments.
• Build and review critical components, APIs, and platform accelerators for production readiness.
• Establish AI/ML engineering practices including CI/CD and model/versioning.
• Guide integration of SAP and enterprise data sources into data products for multiple domains.
