Job summary

PointClickCare is seeking a Principal AI Machine Learning Platform Engineer to set the technical vision for our ML platform, aligning with product and engineering leadership to enable scalable model training, deployment, serving and monitoring across the company.

You will define reference architectures, establish security and reliability practices, mentor engineers, and drive the roadmap for ML infrastructure, including CI/CD, feature stores, and experiment tracking.

Qualifications

• Expert level Python and Java with strong software fundamentals.
• Experience designing ML platforms and MLOps at scale.
• Familiarity with MLFlow, Kubeflow, Ray, and model-serving frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering to translate objectives into a multi-quarter ML platform strategy.
• Define reference architectures and standards for scalable data and ML pipelines.
• Set direction for MLOps including CI/CD for models, model registry, feature stores, and experiment tracking.
• Establish reliability, observability, and performance practices for ML systems in production.
• Define secure architecture for ML platform including authentication, RBAC, audit logging, and compliance monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
