Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to own the technical strategy and architecture of the GenAI CodeGen ecosystem. You will drive AI tooling adoption, build analytics/cost-governance, and serve as the senior technical voice across the CodeGen domain while also coding and mentoring.

This role requires hands-on leadership, collaboration with product and executive teams, and shaping multi-quarter roadmaps for enterprise-scale AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and developing enterprise-scale web/backend systems.
• Proven leadership in design discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep experience with AI/LLM frameworks and model integration.
• Strong programming fluency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one OOD language.
• Experience with CI/CD, version control, and code review at scale.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
• Excellent communication and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the platform layer for AI developer tooling (coding assistants, PR review agents, agentic workflows), ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design and build analytics, cost-tracking, and adoption metrics for AI tooling.
• Integrate agentic workflows into backend services and enable automated code analysis, generation, and task execution.
• Drive prompt engineering, model integration, and deployment best practices across vendors.
• Hands-on coding 40–60% while mentoring engineers and guiding multi-quarter roadmaps.
