Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to own the technical strategy and architecture of the GenAI CodeGen developer platform. You'll lead AI tooling adoption, design analytics and cost-governance, and mentor engineers across a global organization.

You will code, architect, and shape multi-quarter roadmaps while engaging with executives and vendors to drive ROI at scale. Strong AI/LLM, Python, and JavaScript skills are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and developing web, software, or backend systems at scale.
• Strong leadership: directing design discussions and presenting to leadership.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep experience with AI/LLM frameworks and model integration.
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one OOD language.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for GenAI CodeGen platform.
• Lead architecture, roadmap, and multi-quarter planning across orgs.
• Code hands-on ~40–60% and mentor engineers on complex problems.
• Drive vendor evaluations, POCs, and cost-vs-outcome analyses.
• Communicate architecture tradeoffs to executives and teams.
