Job summary

Commure is hiring engineers to scale an AI Operating System for healthcare, building agents to automate core workflows, and delivering rapid, high-impact features. You will collaborate with clinicians and cross-functional teams to ship secure, scalable software across release cycles.

You’ll contribute to architecture, containerized deployments, and integration with multiple EHRs, while advancing LLM and RAG tooling in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to ship enterprise-grade software products.
• Experience leading complex projects across release cycles.
• Ability to write readable, testable code in JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js (Express).
• Experience with LLM applications and RAG tooling (Gemini, GPT, VectorDB).
• Collaborate with product management to clarify requirements and drive deliverables.
• Strong DevOps understanding: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, release management.
• Security-by-design principles in SDLC and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Tackle a wide range of technical challenges in building scalable software while delivering high-quality features.
• Lead design, development, deployment, and iterations of complex features with cross-functional teams.
• Evolve and refine product architecture to support growth and reliability.
• Understand customer pain points and translate into maintainable solutions.
• Promote best practices, maintainability, and code quality; mentor engineers.
• Stay current with industry trends to inform leadership and product strategy.
