Scale AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Ops to own the long-term health, performance, and stability of our AI deployments across strategic public sector partners. • 5+ years in Software Engineering, MLOps, SRE, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Experience with production AI deployments and governance.
• Strong understanding of SLA management and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term health, performance, and stability of AI solutions in production.
• Bridge software engineering, MLOps and governance across client environments.
• Monitor model drift, SLAs, and execute maintenance protocols.
• Lead incident governance, RCA, and multi-tier support coordination.
• Drive automation to reduce toil and improve reliability.
• Interface with government and enterprise IT stakeholders.
