Job summary

Harvard Business School IT is seeking a Senior Application Analyst, AI Operations, to run and optimize AI services, ensuring reliable, secure, and well-supported operations for faculty, learners, and staff. This role reports to the Manager, IT Collaboration Services within the Application & Service Administration team.

The ideal candidate blends strong technical judgment with service orientation, coordinating across teams and leading major incidents with vendors and internal partners.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Experience administering and supporting enterprise AI services and SaaS platforms.
• Testing, validation, documentation, and implementation of connectors/APIs/integrations.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, authentication, and data access controls.
• Proven coordination of technical incident resolution with vendors and internal teams.
• Managing service plans, roadmaps, rollouts, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Using dashboards and service data to monitor adoption, usage, and performance trends.
• Familiarity with licensing, procurement, inventory, renewals, and vendor coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification or comparable service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the AI services lifecycle, including provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, configuration, and ongoing support
• Serve as liaison between AI Operations and AI Strategy teams, translating solutions into supportable services
• Implement service plans and lifecycle activities with IT stakeholders
• Test, document, and implement connectors between platforms and Model Context Protocol servers
• Monitor service health, adoption, usage, token utilization, and performance trends
• Coordinate AI service rollouts, upgrades, releases, migrations, and implementations
• Provide SME guidance on AI service operations across projects
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting AI platforms and integrations with vendors
• Create and maintain operational documentation and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate on security reviews, data protection, and compliance activities
