Job summary

DriveNets seeks a Principal Technologist to lead technical strategy in AI networking and data center infrastructure. You will guide Solution Architects and Sales in high-value opportunities, shaping architectures, and driving multi-million-dollar engagements.

Based in North America, you will travel ~20% and interact with hyperscalers, NeoClouds, and large enterprises, translating customer challenges into scalable, differentiated solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ years in data center networking architecture and design, with AI/HPC infra focus.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale switching/routing and benchmarking.
• Proven track record in senior pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (DPDK, SR-IOV, SmartNICs/DPUs).
• Strong ability to influence C-level stakeholders and drive complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for high-value AI/HPC data center opportunities.
• Lead pre-sales engagement with hyperscalers, NeoClouds, and enterprises.
• Drive PoC design, benchmarks, and results with rigorous communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Engineering teams.
• Publish architecture playbooks, reference designs, and best practices.
