Job summary

Designworks Talent LLC in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Principal Data Center Network Engineer to own the networking architecture for a rapid-growth AI infrastructure platform. This hybrid role centers on designing, automating, and operating the data center network that supports multi-tenant AI workloads and GPU clusters.

You will work across Arista, Juniper, HPE, and Cisco platforms, build secure tenant isolation, and influence long-term networking strategy for high-performance AI services.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale data center networks.
• Experience with multi-tenant networking and tenant isolation.
• Automation and IaC experience for networking tasks.
• Ability to work across multiple networking platforms and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, and operate data center networking for large-scale GPU clusters and AI workloads.
• Develop secure tenant isolation architectures for performance, scalability, and security.
• Design resilient networks across compute, storage, and infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with hardware, virtualization, and platform teams to optimize AI networking.
• Build automation for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Define networking standards and best practices as the infra organization grows.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and shape the platform's evolution.
