Google seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary AI/ML initiatives within the SAGE team, coordinating across researchers, engineers, and product partners to plan requirements, manage schedules, and communicate with executives.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive generative modeling from research to production, tackling high-impact challenges in ads tech and advertising AI, with accountability for end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with AI/ML.
• Experience in large language model training.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in Ads platforms.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle, integration testing, and ML pipeline management.
• Demonstrated experience in technical project management addressing and solving complex problems in machine learning, generative modeling, or applied research.
• Firm sense of accountability and ownership for the end-to-end project lifecycle, with the ability to translate complex research concepts into actionable engineering plans.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute feature planning, prioritization, and operations for generative modeling and applied research.
• Partner with advanced research teams (e.g., DeepMind) to transition research into production.
• Establish programs and projects to plan and execute the generative modeling product area.
• Manage day-to-day resources, risks, and priorities (ML compute/TPU capacity).
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to develop execution plans.
