Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager III for AI/ML within the Google Ads group. You will lead cross‑functional, multi‑discipline programs from requirements through delivery, partnering with research and engineering teams across locations including Mountain View and New York.

Responsibilities include planning feature roadmaps for generative modeling and applied research, managing resources and risks, and translating complex models into scalable product plans for Ads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with AI/ML.
• Experience in large language model training.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the development and execution of feature planning, prioritization, and operations for generative modeling and applied research initiatives.
• Partner closely with advanced research teams (e.g., DeepMind) to transition applied research into production and solve SAGE's hardest technical challenges.
• Establish the necessary programs and one‑off projects for the team to plan and execute in order for the generative modeling product area to be successful.
• Manage day‑to‑day resource requirements (including ML compute/TPU capacity), risks, and priorities.
• Interface with other product, engineering, and research teams within Ads to develop actionable execution plans.
