Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex AI/ML programs within the Core ML PMO. You will define requirements, manage schedules, assess risks, and communicate with executives and engineers across diverse teams.

Collaborating with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and cross-Product Area customers, you will align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive architectural trade-offs to accelerate AI delivery and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
• Experience managing complex, high-stakes, and cross-functional technical programs in the AI/ML space.
• Demonstrate technical judgment and architectural understanding.

Responsibilities

• Guide programs through the Core ML Product Life-cycle (Concept, Planning, Development, Pilot, and GA).
• Partner closely with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and cross-Product Area customers to align roadmaps, capture dependencies, and unblock execution bottlenecks.
• Apply technical understanding to evaluate architectural trade-offs, drive design discussions, and manage complex cross-group dependencies.
• Define and monitor program health metrics, report on OKR progress to leadership, and streamline communication across virtual and dedicated engineering structures.
