Job summary

Google Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager II, AI/ML to lead multi-disciplinary engineering programs from requirements to launch. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across product, research, and SRE teams, manage schedules, risks, and trade-offs, and communicate plans to executives.

You will champion operational excellence for AI initiatives, scale launch readiness, and ensure reliable releases at Google-scale, partnering with senior stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with artificial intelligence/machine learning projects, tools, or infrastructure.
• Experience with capacity management in a cloud environment.
• Experience in Technical Program Management, Partner Management, and Release and Launch Readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise and manage project lifecycle.
• Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the lifecycle, managing schedules and risks.
• Communicate analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss trade-offs with engineers.
• Lead cross-functional launch readiness for Labs and GDM dependencies and standardize release playbooks.
• Collaborate with SRE and Product engineers to remove bottlenecks and improve tooling for launches.
