Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Mountain View to lead complex, multi-disciplinary AI/Infrastructure projects end-to-end. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and clearly communicate with cross-functional partners, including executives and engineers.

Role emphasizes driving standard software stacks, reducing fragmentation, and accelerating production-ready AI and infrastructure at scale. Includes interaction with Cloud, Search, Ads, and YouTube teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and technical programs in AI/ML.

Responsibilities

  • Guide programs through the Core ML Product Life-cycle (Concept, Planning, Development, Pilot, and GA).
  • Partner with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and cross-PA customers to align roadmaps and unblock execution.
  • Apply technical understanding to evaluate architectural trade-offs and drive design discussions.
  • Define and monitor program health metrics, report on OKR progress to leadership, and streamline communication across teams.

US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Guide programs through the Core ML Product Life-cycle (Concept, Planning, Development, Pilot, and GA).
  • Partner closely with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and cross-Product Area (PA) customers (e.g., Cloud, Search, Ads, YouTube) to align roadmaps, capture dependencies, and unblock execution bottlenecks.
  • Apply technical understanding to evaluate architectural trade-offs, drive design discussions, and manage complex cross-group dependencies.
  • Define and monitor program health metrics, report on OKR progress to leadership, and streamline communication across virtual and dedicated engineering structures.
