Job summary

Google is seeking a Security Engineer focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to design and defend AI deployments. You will work across on‑prem GPU clusters and cloud environments, aligning LLM architectures with robust security practices.

You will implement secure ML pipelines, manage multi-agent orchestration, and benchmark defenses against adversarial threats in a fast‑paced Google Public Sector context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in AI/ML development, AI infrastructure engineering, or software development.
• 5 years in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• 5 years of Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Ability to travel up to 25% and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage LLM deployments on‑premises and cloud environments, mapping data flows and enforcing privileges.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate scalable inference and training, optimizing GPU utilization.
• Protect model weights and secure data ingestion across the MLOps lifecycle.
• Investigate AI threats and map findings to MITRE ATLAS, OWASP for LLMs, and STRIDE models.
• Bridge on‑prem clusters and cloud AI services to maintain a consistent security posture.
