Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Senior AI/ML Scientist to develop and implement advanced AI solutions. This role will drive the delivery of machine learning and Generative AI systems that adapt over time to meet evolving business needs.

The ideal candidate will combine statistical expertise with programming skills to create impactful solutions, lead projects to harness AI technologies, and engage with multidisciplinary teams. A minimum of 5 years in related fields is expected, with relevant degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of complex ML, DL, and GenAI systems.
• Design, implement, and evaluate AI systems for production.
• Apply prescriptive analytics techniques to business problems.
• Benchmark existing ML methods and analyze results.
