Job summary

Thomson Reuters Labs is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to drive AI/ML research and data-driven capabilities for global professionals. You will work on scalable ML pipelines, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to end-to-end solutions that transform how customers work.

You will join a global team delivering production-grade AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and impact across Legal, Tax & Accounting, Government, and News segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years working on a machine learning related product or solution.
• Deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Experience implementing CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts in production delivery.
• Experience integrating ML and Generative AI into production-grade software.
• Familiarity with NLP tasks such as NER, information extraction, and text classification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver scalable ML solutions in large-scale data environments.
• Build large-scale data processing pipelines for ML models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and remote teams in an Agile setting.
