Job summary

Thomson Reuters Labs seeks a Research Engineer to advance AI and ML capabilities that transform legal, tax, accounting, and government workflows globally. You will help design, build, test, and deliver data-driven solutions across a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will work on scalable ML systems, deploy models, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value while learning and applying new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2+ years software engineering experience, preferably in ML and NLP.
• Experience with Python and related ecosystems.
• Ability to deploy ML capabilities into production systems.
• Familiarity with Python data science stack (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in automation, monitoring, and cloud—AWS or Azure.
