Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, test, and productize AI/ML algorithms that address business challenges. You will work on model architecture, data pipelines, metrics, and governance while communicating results to stakeholders.

You may lead geographically diverse teams and serve as a primary POC for AI-related matters, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years applying machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Master's or Ph.D. in advanced math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or deep learning from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) additional years of ML experience with a relevant Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a Master's.

Responsibilities

• Experience with standard machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Select appropriate data sets for modeling.
• Perform statistical analysis to inform model decisions.
• Run machine learning algorithms and interpret results.
• Train and retrain systems as needed to improve performance.
• Oversee testing and evaluation protocols for AI/ML models.
• Research and implement a broad range of AI/ML algorithms and tools.
• Transform data science prototypes into scalable solutions.
• Verify data and model output quality and robustness.
