Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Engineer who designs, tests, and productizes AI/ML algorithms to solve business challenges. The role covers model architecture, data pipelines, and performance monitoring, with leadership responsibilities for diverse teams as needed.

The candidate should be proficient in developing scalable AI/ML solutions and have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus experience with ML frameworks and data governance concepts.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in advanced math, artificial intelligence, data science, computer science or deep learning from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) additional years of machine learning experience with a relevant Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Experience with standard machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Select appropriate data sets and perform statistical analysis.
• Run ML algorithms and use results to improve models.
• Train and retrain systems; monitor and evaluate performance.
• Design or select data representations; verify data and model outputs.

Education

Master's or Ph.D. in advanced math / AI / data science / CS / deep learning

Relevant Bachelor's degree + 10 years experience in ML
