Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions across mission systems. You will work from data processing to model deployment, integrating scalable AI capabilities into operational environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying ML models (NLP/LLM, CV, deep learning, or RL).
• Experience building AI/ML capabilities in a microservice stack.
• Production-grade APIs, microservices, or distributed systems experience.
• Experience with data processing libs: NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models including NLP, LLM-based pipelines, deep learning and CV models.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
• Develop end-to-end production systems: microservices, APIs, automation frameworks, cloud-native or edge AI services.
• Integrate AI/ML into operational environments with security, reliability, observability and performance.
• Model optimization, tuning, versioning, and AB testing for mission impact.
• Apply software engineering patterns with Python, Java, Scala, and Rust in microservices environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define technical approaches and gather requirements.
• Prepare technical docs, participate in design reviews, support customer requirements.
