Job summary

B4Corp in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to develop and integrate AI/ML-enabled applications focusing on LLM integration, RAG capabilities, and production-ready workflows. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers up to $190,000 per year with core hours 9am–4pm.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs in Python, designing PostgreSQL schemas, and improving system reliability, performance, and scalability within an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI/ML-enabled apps with LLM integration, agent workflows, and RAG capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python and AI libraries, with tool-based LLM development and external system integration.
• Strong grasp of AI/ML fundamentals: transformers, models, data processing, and deployment patterns.
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with relational DBs, including schema design and indexing.
• Knowledge of production-ready practices: reliability, testing, deployability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML-enabled apps focused on agent workflows and LLMs.
• Design and support agent architectures, orchestration, memory/context management, and tool integration.
• Implement and maintain RAG pipelines, document processing, embeddings, and retrieval configuration.
• Develop REST APIs and Python services; support data workflows and enterprise deployment.
• Model, refine, and optimize data pipelines and Postgres schemas; benchmark performance.
