Job summary

Total Performance Consulting is seeking a Sr AI/ML Engineer to lead core ML systems, fine-tune LLMs, build NLP pipelines, and automate insurance workflows. You’ll collaborate with the founders to shape the company’s technical direction and to build systems from scratch.

This senior role requires hands-on work with NLP, CV, and production-grade ML pipelines in a fast-moving, small team. Remote-friendly position with globally distributed responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with Python development
• 4+ years experience as an AI/ML Developer
• JavaScript / Node.js / React
• Experience with Mongo DB and AWS
• Upper Intermediate English level

Responsibilities

• NLP: Build and fine-tune NLP systems to extract structured data and insights from dense documents.
• Lead development and fine-tuning of large language models tailored to the domain.
• Architect training workflows using user feedback to improve model performance.
• Apply computer vision to extract data from PDFs and scanned documents.
• Build intelligent agents that interact with complex web interfaces using Playwright or Selenium.
• Design evaluation pipelines and performance metrics for models.
• Help architect scalable systems for training, inference, and feedback pipelines.
• Build core systems from scratch.
