Cardinal Health is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to partner with product managers, software engineers, data engineers and business stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions. You will be hands-on in developing AI-powered applications, including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and conversational experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering with expertise in modern AI technologies and cloud-native development, transforming business problems into scalable

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in Software/Machine Learning/AI Engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science/AI or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong proficiency in Python and developing production-grade applications.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile and SDLC frameworks.
• Experience using GitHub and CI/CD platforms (GitHubActions, GitLab, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, Harness, etc.).
• Experience containerizing applications using Docker.
• Experienced deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes platforms (GKE, AKS, EKS, OpenShift, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions for product teams and stakeholders.
• Develop AI-powered applications including LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and conversational experiences.
• Build production-grade ML systems and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable and measurable across the full lifecycle of AI products.
• Collaborate across teams from experimentation to deployment, monitoring and business adoption.
