Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company in Irvine, CA, seeks a Sr Engineer to advance AI/ML for medical devices. You will integrate measurement technologies and analyze physiological data to develop models for disease detection and prediction of critical events, working with R&D teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in AI/ML and signal processing, with strong coding in MATLAB/Python/C/C++.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or related field with 3+ years in AI/ML and signal processing.
• Experience with ML methods (regression, classification, clustering) and DL (CNN/RNN).
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced algorithms using ML, DL, DSP, and numerical modeling in MATLAB or Python.
• Design, implement, test, and document algorithms for Biomedical Signal Processing systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers across R&D to push cutting-edge tech.
• Aim for patentable ideas.
