Job summary

Artifintech in Boston seeks a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead design and deployment of enterprise AI/ML solutions. You will drive model development, optimize pipelines, and integrate intelligent capabilities into production systems.

The role demands expert Python, deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI skills, with cloud platform experience across AWS, Azure, or Vertex AI, and strong MLOps proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, or machine learning.
• Expert-level programming skills in Python and experience with SQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
• Experience developing Large Language Model (LLM) applications and Generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and embedding models.
• Experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Proficiency in AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or Google Vertex AI.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with model optimization, monitoring, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable AI/ML solutions for complex enterprise requirements.
• Lead the development, training, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning models.
• Design advanced NLP, deep learning, and Generative AI applications.
• Build RAG pipelines and integrate LLMs with enterprise data sources.
• Establish model evaluation strategies and improve accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Develop automated ML pipelines and production deployment workflows.
• Optimize model inference, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction to development teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure responsible AI practices, data privacy, and model governance.
