Job summary

Artifintech seeks an experienced Lead Software Engineer to champion Generative AI initiatives in Minneapolis. You will architect enterprise GenAI/Agentic AI solutions, build LLM-based apps with Vertex AI and other platforms, and design robust RAG pipelines while leveraging embedding databases and OCR-driven document processing.

You will also lead backend development in Python (FastAPI/Flask), deploy AI services with Docker across GCP/AWS/Azure, and work with OpenAI APIs and open-source LLMs.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on expertise with Generative AI, LLMs and RAG architectures.
• Experience with Google Vertex AI and Google Document AI.
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning and deployment.
• Hands-on with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, Google ADK, or CrewAI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop and deploy LLM-based applications using Vertex AI and other LLM platforms.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
• Implement LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop document processing solutions using Google Document AI, OCR, information extraction, and structured output generation.
• Build AI agents using LangGraph, Google ADK, and CrewAI.
• Work with OpenAI APIs, open-source LLMs, and commercial LLM platforms.
• Apply ML techniques including supervised/unsupervised learning, RL, DL, and NLP.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Flask, and REST APIs.
• Deploy and manage AI apps using Docker and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
