Finch AI in the United States is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineering Architect. You will lead end-to-end design and deployment of generative AI, NLP, and machine learning systems, guiding LLM/SLM strategies across the product line.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM and SLM applications: agentic AI, RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
• Production NLP systems for classification, extraction, and information extraction across data lifecycles.
• Applied deep learning for NLP with Bayesian statistics and predictive modeling.
• Strong Python skills; experience in Java/Go/C++ is a plus.
• Working familiarity with LangGraph, PyTorch, Transformers, spaCy, scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases.
• 5+ years building commercial software products.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, fine-tuning, and deployment of LLMs and SLMs in production.
• Build AI-enabled apps using agentic AI, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Design, develop, and evaluate ML models for text analytics and classification.
• Carry solution designs from PoC to shipped features in products.
• Collaborate with product teams in an Agile environment and communicate clearly.
