Job summary

Verizon is seeking a senior AI/ML engineering leader to architect and build device-side telemetry, GenAI agents, and predictive analytics platforms for an autonomous network vision. You will create proactive troubleshooting agents transforming raw telemetry into real-time operational intelligence.

You will collaborate across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), edge computing, and cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI solutions with strong MLOps practices and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience in AI/ML, software architecture, and real-time analytics.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering, software architecture, and data analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy edge-side telemetry pipelines and AI/ML models on devices.
• Architect GenAI-powered agents, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic frameworks for proactive troubleshooting and RCA.
• Build and scale data analytics and streaming pipelines across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Drive proactive fault detection, anomaly detection, and closed-loop remediation for 5G network performance.
• Collaborate with network engineering, data science, and product teams to translate complex network pain points into scalable AI solutions.
• Establish end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps with real-time model monitoring, fine-tuning, security guardrails, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
