Job summary

Verizon is seeking a technical leader to architect device-side telemetry, GenAI-powered agents, and predictive analytics platforms. You will transform real-time telemetry into operational intelligence, supporting Verizon's autonomous network vision.

You’ll collaborate with network engineering, data science, and product teams to deploy production-ready AI solutions, establish MLOps practices, and ensure low-latency edge processing across AWS and GCP environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Eight+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software architecture, and real-time data analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
• Experience deploying data analytics and AI solutions across cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
• Strong background in device-side processing, low-latency edge deployment, or resource-constrained model optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and deploy edge-side telemetry pipelines and AI/ML models on devices for real-time signals and logs.
• Architect GenAI-powered agents, LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks as digital employees for proactive troubleshooting and RCA.
• Build and scale data analytics and streaming pipelines across AWS and GCP.
• Drive proactive fault detection, anomaly detection, and closed-loop remediation to optimize 5G performance.
• Collaborate with network engineering, data science, and product teams to translate network pain points into scalable AI solutions.
• Establish end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps practices, including real-time model monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.
